Policies

These policies govern various aspects of purchases made through the Seva Home website. By accessing the Website, placing an order or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these policies, as amended from time to time.

These policies should be read together with Seva Home's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy available on the Website. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail to the extent of the relevant subject matter.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

    • Seva Home shall take orders for payment made through following mode of payment:
    • UPI 
    • Credit Card
    • Debit Card
    • Net Banking
    • Wallets / supported online payment methods.
    • Cash on Delivery
  • Discount codes, promotional offers, vouchers and coupons are single-use and shall be deemed redeemed once applied to an order.
  • No two discounts, promotional offers, vouchers or coupons may be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.

 

PREPAID DISCOUNT POLICY

  • Customers choosing prepaid payment at checkout are eligible for 5% instant discount on the order value. Discount is auto-applied at checkout. 
  • Seva Home reserves the right to modify or discontinue the prepaid discount offer without prior notice.
  • In case of cancellation/refund, refund amount will be limited to  the final amount paid after applying any discount or promotional offers.

CASH ON DELIVERY POLICY

By choosing COD at checkout, you agree to the following terms:

·         COD is available only on select serviceable pin codes within India and is subject to courier partner serviceability.

·         Seva Home reserves the right to disable COD for certain pin codes, products, customers, or order values without prior notice.

·         COD is available only for orders up to ₹5,000. Orders exceeding ₹5,000 may be fulfilled only through prepaid payment options.

·         A COD handling fee of ₹95 is applicable on every COD order and will be added at checkout. The COD handling fee is non-refundable even if the order is eligible for return or refund.

·         To confirm a COD order, customers may be required to complete OTP verification through WhatsApp and/or SMS. Orders will be processed only upon successful verification, and Seva Home reserves the right to cancel unverified orders.

·         Once an order is placed, it may be forwarded to our shipping partner for fulfilment. Our courier partner may contact customers through call and/or WhatsApp to confirm delivery readiness prior to dispatch. Failure to complete such verification may result in cancellation of the order.

·         Our courier partners may attempt delivery up to three (3) times. If delivery cannot be completed, the order may be returned to Seva Home.

·         COD orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting our support team at support@sevahome.in . No COD charges will be collected for orders cancelled before dispatch.

·         Customers are advised to inspect the outer packaging before accepting delivery. If the package appears tampered with or visibly damaged, customers should refuse delivery and immediately contact Seva Home at support@sevahome.in .

·         Refunds for COD orders shall be subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable COD-related terms available on the Website. Any approved refund shall be processed through bank transfer or such other approved refund method as determined by Seva Home.

·         COD handling charges and shipping charges may not be refundable unless required due to a verified delivery or product issue.

·         Customers are responsible for providing accurate bank account or UPI details for processing refunds relating to COD orders. Seva Home shall not be responsible for delays arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

·         Seva Home reserves the right to cancel or refuse any COD order in cases including, but not limited to, serviceability limitations, stock unavailability, repeated failed deliveries, suspected fraudulent activity, repeated COD refusals, or return-to-origin (RTO) history.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

At Seva Home, we are committed to providing you with the best possible shopping experience. Here are the details of our shipping policy:

·         Seva Home offers shipping across select serviceable locations within India through its logistics partners. International shipping is currently not available.

·         Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days and delivered within 3–7 business days from dispatch, subject to location, serviceability and other factors beyond our reasonable control.

·         A delivery charge of ₹95 shall apply to orders below ₹2,000. Orders of ₹2,000 and above qualify for free shipping.

·         Upon dispatch, customers will receive order tracking details through email, SMS or other available communication channels.

·         Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our reasonable control, including weather conditions, transportation disruptions, public holidays, strikes, governmental actions or other unforeseen events.

·         Delivery is subject to serviceability by our logistics partners. Seva Home reserves the right to refuse, restrict or cancel deliveries to certain locations.

·         In the event of a delayed or lost shipment, customers may contact us at support@sevahome.in and Seva Home will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving the issue.

·         We do not deliver to P.O. Box, APO or FPO addresses.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

·         Orders may be cancelled only before dispatch by contacting our customer support team at support@sevahome.in or +91 8976923049 (Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Once an order has been dispatched, cancellations are not permitted.

·         If a cancellation request is received before dispatch, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 working days.

·         Seva Home accepts returns only for products that are damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered. Returns will not be accepted for change of mind, dislike of fragrance, or incorrect product selection by the customer.

·         To initiate a return request, customers must contact support@sevahome.in within 48 hours of receiving the order and provide the Order ID, photographs & videos of the product, invoice and a description of the issue. Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the request being declined.

·         Approved returns must be unused, returned in their original packaging, and accompanied by all labels, tags, seals, barcodes, accessories and complimentary items.

·         Returns will not be accepted where the product has been used, damaged due to misuse or mishandling, returned without original packaging, has tampered labels/serial numbers, or where the return request is raised beyond the prescribed timeframe.

·         Once a return request is approved, return instructions and/or pickup details will be communicated through Seva Home's shipping partner. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, and subject to approval of the claim, the refund will be processed.

·         Refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Refunds for orders placed using the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option shall also be subject to the Cash on Delivery (COD) Terms & Conditions available on the Website.

·         Refunds will generally be initiated within 48–72 working hours after approval and inspection of the returned product. Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the payment provider or banking institution.

·         The following orders are not eligible for refunds: (i) orders cancelled after dispatch, (ii) products returned without original packaging, (iii) products that have been opened, used, altered or tampered with, and (iv) customised or personalised products.

·         Discount codes, promotional offers, vouchers and coupons are single-use and shall be deemed redeemed once applied to an order. In the event of a cancellation or refund, the refund amount shall be limited to the final amount paid by the customer after applying any discounts, promotional offers, vouchers or coupons. Promotional codes or vouchers used on cancelled orders will not be reinstated.

·         Products purchased under a discount or promotional offer remain eligible for return or refund only in cases of damaged, defective or incorrect products.

·         Where an approved return relates to an order that included a complimentary gift or promotional item, such complimentary item must also be returned. Failure to return the complimentary item may result in a corresponding adjustment to the refund amount.

·         Seva Home shall not be liable for delays or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, transportation disruptions, strikes, pandemics, governmental actions or other force majeure events.

·         Products must be used strictly in accordance with applicable instructions and safety guidelines. Seva Home shall not be responsible for any damage, injury or loss arising from misuse, negligence or failure to follow such instructions.

·         Certain products may be sensitive to temperature variations. Minor softening or surface changes occurring during transit due to heat do not affect product performance and shall not constitute a defect. Products that are significantly damaged or rendered unusable during transit may be eligible for return, replacement or refund in accordance with this Policy.

·         Seva Home reserves the right to approve or reject return, replacement and refund requests after verification of the product, supporting evidence and compliance with this Policy.

·         Seva Home reserves the right to amend, modify or update this Policy from time to time without prior notice.
